I havan't been around either of those much but I have had a couple of buds that had a banshee and they really liked. I think they are on the heavy side tho. What about a reign x or sx trail as I have been on both alot.

Yeah I got a coil pike on mine and have put on a shorter i2i shock to lower the bb and slacken the head angle but I went with a 6.5" i2i and that was too much I may try a 7", it comes stock with a 7.5". Mine is at 29 lbs.

Yeah Sorge was on a stock trance xo with some components changed. I've got one built up and it's a blast to ride. Prolly one of the funnest bikes I've owned.

I cannot really answer your question directly because I am not an extreme rider . . . I am a simple biker who only wants to relieve stress. The Cherry bomb was recently sent to me by my sponsor and I have not tested its full potential yet. Well, based on my observation as I compare my Haro hardtail to the cherrybomb . . . of course cherry bomb can do better bunnyhops because of its shocks that has good compression and rebound (more durable and that adds confidence). . . . As for whiplifts, I think my Haro can do better because it weights less (like bmx though not suitable for freeride) or maybe I still have to do more training/practice on Cherry bomb.
